(Cleveland)- The Georgia Department of Public Health data released this afternoon shows White County has increased to 105 confirmed COVID-19 cases with three deaths related to the virus.
Looking at surrounding area counties, Hall County has 2,539 confirmed cases with 50 deaths, Habersham County 538 cases, and 23 deaths. In Lumpkin County 101 cases with one death, Union County 48 cases, one death and Towns County 26 cases, and one death.
Everyone is reminded to practice social distancing, washing hands often, and wearing gloves and a mask when out in public to help protect yourself and others from the virus.
Is there any information of how many in White County have been tested? Is the upswing simply because more people are being tested either for active infection or antibodies? Just telling us how many case there are isn’t giving us information of the number of active cases.
