(Cleveland)- A White County woman has been charged with murder in the death of her 19-month old daughter.
The White County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Thursday, February 27th at 3:27 PM officers and White County Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to a residence in Cleveland, for a 19-month-old child Shyloh Wood in distress.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, the child was transported to Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta where the child died. An autopsy was performed at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime laboratory on Friday.
As a result of their investigation, the White County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI has charged the child’s mother 21-year old Quinn Riley Wood with Murder, Aggravated Battery and Cruelty to Children.
No further details were released by the sheriff’s office.
