ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Logan Archer shot a team-best 77 in the final round, finishing in a tie for 18th as the University of North Georgia men’s golf team concluded the Peach Belt Conference Championship at the Slammer & Squire Golf Course Sunday.

Archer birdied three holes on the day, including the par 5 16th, which he played at two-under for the tournament. USC Aiken’s Johnson Holliday won the tournament by three strokes, firing a 54-hole total of eight-under 208.

The ninth-ranked Pacers won the tournament by 14 shots over Columbus State. Young Harris finished in third place, followed by Lander and Georgia Southwestern.

The Nighthawks finished in ninth place, eight strokes back of Georgia College after a final round score of 318. Lawson King (79), Tanner Merck (80) and Joseph Jarrard (82) rounded out the scoring for UNG on the final day.
