(Cleveland)- We could see some severe weather this afternoon into the evening across northeast Georgia. The Storm Prediction Center advises that a cold front will bring a line of showers and thunderstorms into north and central Georgia this afternoon through tonight.
There is a slight risk of severe weather mainly along and north of a line from Lagrange to Athens.
The primary concerns are for damaging wind gusts, though a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. Locally heavy rainfall will also be possible with stronger storms that develop.
